The month-on-month increase comes despite consumers wagering less, with the total amount spent on online gambling in September standing at $18.1m, which was 8.6% lower than in August.
However, the amount did represent a 44.8% increase on the $12.5m wagered by players in September last year.
Video lottery accounted for $610,356 of total revenue in the month, with players spending a total of $10.9m on this vertical. Table games followed with $178,387 in revenue off $6.4m in wagers, while poker rake and fees generated $51,404 in revenue.
Consumers won a total of $17.3m from online gambling with the state’s three licensed operators in September, compared to $11.4m last year and $19.1m in August.
