GVC Holdings has signed up as a founding member of the All-in Diversity Project, an initiative looking to foster greater diversity, equality and inclusivity across the industry.

The group and its range of brands will work with the organisation and its other members to support ongoing efforts promoting diversity in gambling.

The All-in Diversity Project also counts the likes of Caesars Entertainment, Scientific Games, International Game Technology, Paddy Power Betfair, Gaming Innovation Group and recent addition Betsson as founding members.

“As an multi-channel, multi-jurisdictional industry leader, GVC will bring an unrivalled knowledge and global perspective of the industry that, along with a passion to lead and share their best practices, will help us take another huge step towards a better more inclusive industry,” All-in Diversity Project co-founder Kelly Kehn said.

GVC runs a number of in-company diversity schemes, including within its wider ‘Fair Play’ corporate social responsibility initiative that launched in October 2018. Through this initiative, it aims to develop and diverse and inclusive workforce, providing a safe and enjoyable working environment for staff.

Its 2020 corporate social responsibility (CSR) report, published in July, revealed that in the past year the number of women in senior positions rose to 40.3%, with workers from ethnic minority backgrounds increasing to 21.1% of total employees.

Shay Segev, who was appointed as GVC’s new chief executive in July after the exit of Kenneth Alexander, said: “As a global employer, GVC is committed to providing a safe, fun, and inclusive culture where our people feel like they truly belong.

“We are a multicultural business that values, celebrates and respects individual differences, so whatever your sexuality, gender, gender identity, ability, age, race, religion or belief, you will have a voice here, and the space to do your best work,” Segev said.
