BetConstruct has obtained a new licence from the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN) national regulatory body.

The Class II licence refers to the firm’s retail solutions and enables activities of production and distribution of gaming programmes and devices.

BetConstruct will now offer fixed-odds betting, casino-style games, peer-to-peer games and virtual games in Romania.

The firm recently secured two Class I licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, allowing it to offer services to its partners to operate in regulated markets in different regions.

Karine Kocharyan, head of licensing and certification at BetConstruct, said: “The ONJN Class II licence is another achievement of BetConstruct in the Romanian market, allowing the company to distribute a full package of its retail solutions to licensed betting shops throughout the territory of Romania.

“Along with its current Class II online gaming licence, BetConstruct can now secure its stable presence in the Romanian gaming industry, both remote and non-remote.”
