Having opened a new office, Crucial Compliance will now be able to support licensees in the British Crown dependency.

Crucial Compliance works with operators and providers on compliance services and safer gambling strategies. This includes anti-money laundering (AML) and responsible gambling efforts.

“We understand that each operator in the gambling industry has unique compliance needs,” Crucial Compliance’s co-founder, Paul Foster, said. “We are committed to providing tailored strategies and solutions that align with these requirements and objectives.

“Our proprietary technology, Crucial Player Protection, seamlessly combines player behaviour automation and modelling to equip your compliance teams with the necessary information to manage and interact with players at scale.

“The Isle of Man has seen a significant increase in the number of licences over the last 18 months, thanks to its mature, accessible regulator.

“Coupled with the increasing demands for holistic AML and responsible gambling tools, the decision to expand into the Isle of Man aligns perfectly with our business growth strategy.”

Growth plans

The expansion comes after B2B online gambling provider EveryMatrix last week secured an international Isle of Man B2B software licence.

Issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission, the new licence will allow EveryMatrix to work with operators and third parties in regions around the world.

The permit will cover the supply of EveryMatrix’s range of igaming technology and services.

Crucial Compliance earlier this year also announced a link-up with regulatory compliance services provider W2 and technology supplier nChain.

The arrangement focuses on offering blockchain-powered compliance solutions. “Distributed Ledge Technology” will deliver solutions from W2 and Crucial Compliance and blockchain technology from nChain.

The collaboration is aimed at helping operators overcome regulatory challenges and future-proofing their compliance tools and processes.
