Jojobet.com to sponsor snooker’s Gibraltar Open

Online gambling operator Jojobet.com has agreed a deal to become the new title sponsor of World Snooker’s Gibraltar Open.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it was confirmed that this year’s edition of the event will be known as the Jojobet.com Gibraltar Open.

The 2017 contest will take place at the Tercentenary Sports Hall, Gibraltar, from March 3-5.

World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said: “We are thrilled to give Jojobet a warm welcome as we work with them on snooker for the first time. The Jojobet.com Gibraltar Open will receive extensive coverage across the continent on Eurosport.

“It will be a top-class event and we look forward to working with the Jojobet team at this tournament and in the coming years.”
