Senet Group launches awareness campaign ahead of Euro 2016
UK independent gambling watchdog the Senet Group has rolled out a national advertising campaign in an effort to encourage responsible gambling during the Uefa European Championship national football team tournament, which begins today (Friday) in France.
The group has refreshed its existing ‘Bad Betty’ campaign to include a number of football-specific messages and tips to help punters in the UK to stay in control of their gambling.
Created in partnership with advertising agency The Corner, the latest campaign features the Senet Group’s 'When the fun stops, stop’ slogan and will run on television, in the press and on social media.
Wanda Goldwag, independent standards commissioner at the Senet Group, said: “Our ‘Bad Betty’ adverts continue to be very successful in educating gamblers to become more aware of the signs behind problem gambling, as well as encouraging a more responsible approach.
“Our expanding membership means that more gamblers and the wider public are exposed to our campaigns and we hope people will follow the tips in our new adverts during the Euros.”
