Submissions needed to be for projects focusing on harm or conditions related to gambling activities. A total of €1.3m (£1.1m/$1.4m) is being made available for this research.
Based on the State Research Agency evaluation report, the Evaluation Commission whittled this list down to 26.
It has also been confirmed that the execution period for selected projects is being extended until 30 June 2024
“These grants are aimed at carrying out research studies on disorders derived from gambling activity, with the prevention of the effects derived from said disorders or the risks associated with gambling,” the DGOJ said.
