Delaware igaming revenue down in September despite higher player spending

Online gambling revenue in Delaware fell 5.4% year-on-year in September despite players in the state spending 43.7% more on igaming.

Revenue for the month amounted to $794,644 (£580,101/€684,191), down from $840,146 in September last year and also 16.0% lower than $945,512 in August of this year.

Video lottery accounted for $671,885 of total revenue for the month, with $95,625 coming from online table games and $27,134 from poker rake and fees.

However, despite the drop in revenue, player spend was up to $26.0m, higher than $18.1m in September 2020 and also 19.8% up from $26.0m in August this year.
