Kambi has extended its footprint in Italy by launching Greentube’s StarVegas online casino brand in the country’s regulated market.

StarVegas completed the integration of Kambi’s sportsbook this week and, as a result, the sportsbook is now live with a number of key operators in the dot.it market including 888 and Unibet.

As part of the agreement, StarVegas will promote the sportsbook product with an above the line campaign through television and printed media, while it also intends to enhance its presence on digital marketing channels.

Greentube and Kambi began working together in February and utilised this deal to launch the Kambi sportsbook in Romania with Greentube’s Admiral brand.

Kristian Nylen, chief executive of Kambi, said: “This strategic partnership has great potential to turn Greentube into an important pan-European sportsbook player alongside its already successful casino brands, highlighting the scalability of the Kambi sportsbook.”

StarVegas claimed a market share of 3.6% of Italy's regulated online casino market in August, according to iGB's most recent Italy iGaming Dashboard (paywall), produced in partnership with leading gaming sector advisory firm Ficom Leisure.
