SoftSwiss Sportsbook debuts in Africa with N1Bet launch

| By Richard Mulligan
Online gambling software developer SoftSwiss has launched its first betting platform in Africa after N1Bet went live in Nigeria.

SoftSwiss, which obtained a local licence in the jurisdiction in February 2021, said N1Bet players will have access to SoftSwiss Sportsbook’s complete sports betting solution package, including more than 10,000 real-time events and 200 sports.

SoftSwiss said that while the partnership with N1Group is initially focussed on sports betting, gambling solutions will also be included in the range of available services. Players will have access to new features, including Freebet, Comboboost, Quickbet and Maxbet.

Alexander Kamenetskyi, product owner at SoftSwiss Sportsbook, said: “We have been working on the launch of our first project in the African market for a long time and see this as a unique opportunity to be part of the large and fast-growing iGaming industry in this region. We have a lot to offer and something to interest all betting enthusiasts.

“The launch of N1Bet will allow SoftSwiss to provide services to those customers who are interested in a comprehensive approach and focus on the African market or want to expand their presence there. With N1Bet this will now become easier and more accessible.”

The African debut comes after SoftSwiss Sportsbook was launched in March 2020.

SoftSwiss, which was founded in 2009, works with more than 300 websites and processes more than €5bn in bets each month.
