Greentube plots recruitment drive to support expansion strategy

| By Robert Fletcher
Greentube, the interactive division of Novomatic Group, is to hire more than 100 new employees across its offices in Austria, Malta and Slovakia as part of its commercial expansion strategy.

Positions are available in a number of departments, including the development, project management, key account management, casino operation and technical support teams, spread across a range of offices.

Greentube will also look to employ 30 developers at its new development centre in Belgrade, Serbia, to expand both its proprietary platform development and operations units.

The recruitment drive comes after a successful year for Greentube, which has seen growth in all of its business segments, while the division also entered into the German market.

Greentube chief financial officer and chief gaming officer Michael Bauer said the developer intends to build on this in 2021, revealing plans to also expand into the US.

“We expect the trend to accelerate even more in 2021 as additional markets in Europe such as Germany and Netherlands will become regulated and thus enable market entries for us both in the B2C and B2B area,” Bauer said.

“Additionally, we are planning to set foot into the US as a games supplier and have high expectations there as well. For us to benefit from these opportunities, we are committed to investing in our workforce.”
