SafeCharge details directorate changes

Payment technologies provider SafeCharge has appointed Robert Caplehorn and Jeremy Nicholds as non-executive directors, and announced the retirement of board member Ed Warner.

Payment technologies provider SafeCharge has appointed Robert Caplehorn and Jeremy Nicholds as non-executive directors, and announced the retirement of board member Ed Warner.

Caplehorn previously served as vice-president legal global operations for PayPal and is a dual qualified lawyer in the US and the UK.

Nicholds is an experienced commercial director and has held a number of senior roles, such as executive director mobile at Visa Europe and senior vice-president European sales and marketing at MasterCard.

Roger Withers, chairman of SafeCharge, said: “We are delighted to welcome Robert and Jeremy to the company; their significant international experience and expertise in the e-payments sector will be invaluable to SafeCharge at this stage of the company's development.”

Meanwhile, Warner is to retire from the board after serving as a member since the firm’s IPO in 2014.

Withers added: “On behalf of the board I would also like to thank Ed for the significant contribution he has made to company since its IPO.”
