Gaming operator and content developer Gamesys has launched a revamped version of its Daily Free Games product, a suite of minigames that allows players to unlock bonus features for real-money slots.

New additions to the revamped offering include a weekly progression bar, letting users keep track of when they have played, as well as real-time statistics to show what other players are winning with Daily Free Games.

Other features include a countdown that lets players know when their next game will be available, in addition to a section to show users how many picks they have accumulated for the game of the month.

By playing the minigames, players can unlock bonuses such as free spins and extra credit in their real-money accounts.

The updated version of Daily Free Games is now live on the Starspins platform, with plans to roll it out with other Gamesys ventures in the near future.

The majority of Gamesys will soon become part of the JPJ Group, with the latter in June having announced a deal to acquire assets such as its technical platform, igaming brands and content studios for a total consideration of £490m (€549.6m/$604.2m).

Last month, JPJ stated that it expects the deal to be completed during the third quarter.
