Greentube strengthens Colombian presence with BetPlay

Greentube, Novomatic’s interactive division, has strengthened its client portfolio in Colombia by sealing a partnership with local operator BetPlay.

A selection of Greentube titles, including Aztec Power, Apollo God of the Sun, Amazing Stars, Book of Ra Bingo, Sizzling Hot and Lucky Lady’s Charm are now available on BetPlay.

The agreement is the second Colombia-facing deal to be confirmed by Greentube in a matter of days, following the announcement last week of a tie-up with Rush Street Interactive covering a selection of games.

In April, Greentube marked its entrance into Colombia by teaming up with Wplay, which was the first operator to secure an online gambling licence in the country in June 2017.

“BetPlay has a great reputation in Colombia with a strong market presence,” Greentube’s chief financial officer, Michael Bauer, said.

“Adding their name to our operator network puts us in an excellent position to become the go-to B2B supplier in the region. Our Colombian client base continues to grow from strength to strength, and with our large portfolio of games already delivering results for our partners, we expect our market position to expand rapidly.”

Carlos Mora, Director of Product and Operation at BetPlay, said: “The company’s player-focused approach together with its deep knowledge of international markets make Greentube a great match for BetPlay.”

Colombia was the first country in South America to regulate online gambling nationwide back in October 2016.
