Playtech and Ladbrokes Coral have enhanced Live Casino with a new bet slip solution

Playtech and Ladbrokes Coral have continued their strategy of enhancing Live Casino by adding a first-of-its-kind bet slip solution.

Punters can follow live odds and action and place bets without leaving the Live Casino tables, with roulette operated by sports-trained dealers, who will provide commentary through live events.

The companies said automated sports betting content will be delivered courtesy of Fresh8, with the most popular and optimised bets are delivered to the user.

The new offering comes after technology provider Playtech and Ladbrokes Coral developed a Cheltenham Festival-themed Roulette room last year.

Kevin Kilminster, head of live casino Innovation for Playtech, said the solution is a “significant step forward” for Live Casino, meaning sports fans “no longer have to choose between playing Roulette and keeping up-to-date with the big events”.

He added: “This is the first time any provider has delivered a full solution to bring an operator sportsbook offering into the Live Casino client.”

Antonio Ruggeri, Live Casino Product Manager for Ladbrokes Coral, said the company was keen to introduce the feature during the Fifa World Cup.

He added: “This technology adds a brand-new dimension to our Live offering, and is a great opportunity for players who enjoy sports betting to try out the Live Casino environment without missing out on any of the action.”

Last year, Playtech finalised what it said was the industry’s largest migration of dedicated live casino rooms to its next generation studio in Riga, Latvia.
