Online gaming software provider Pragmatic Play has expanded its services into the regulated Colombian market by rolling out its slot content with local operator Wplay.co.

Under the agreement, Wplay.co has launched Pragmatic’s entire portfolio of slot games, including titles such as Da Vinci’s Treasure, Mustang Gold, and Wolf Gold.

Wplay.co was the first operator to secure an online gambling licence in Colombia after the country's regulated igaming market opened for business in 2016, becoming the first South American country to launch a regulatory framework.

“We are always looking to enter new regulated markets and look forward to a long and successful partnership with Wplay.co,” Pragmatic’s chief business development officer, Yossi Barzely, said.

Julio Cesar Tamayo, chief executive at Wplay.co, added: “Pragmatic Play’s games stand out in a crowded marketplace, with a wide array of successful content, and we’re thrilled to have them on board.

“We’re looking forward to offering our customers the very best in immersive gaming from the slot provider’s innovative portfolio.”

During the past 12 months, Pragmatic Play has also signed new commercial deals with the likes of Svenska Spel, Kindred and Casumo.
