Loterj/government legal battle reaches Supreme Court, state regulator fights for licensees to operate nationally
The Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj) is requesting a preliminary injunction to reject a lawsuit by the government seeking to ban its licensees from operating outside the state. Loterj is disputing the lawsuit, arguing its licensees have jurisdiction to operate nationally.
