Continent 8 continues expansion plans
Continent 8 Technologies has completed the latest stage of its multi-million dollar global network expansion.
The managed hosting, cloud and network provider said its services are now spread across Europe, Asia and the Americas, with the new development linking the Asia-Pacific region back to Europe and directly to its US network, via new, dedicated points of presence in Los Angeles, California, and Hong Kong.
The expansion takes Continent 8’s global locations count to total to 27, with the firm able to send data around the world in under 300 milliseconds.
Michael Tobin, co-founder and chief executive of Continent 8, said: “We are extremely proud to have made this further investment to take our network truly global, and in particular to be able to complete the project on time, on budget and to the exacting standards our customers have come to expect.
“We are building an ecosystem of directly connected unique locations, customers and services.
“Many providers claim to be ‘global’, yet few can demonstrate such a commitment and allow their customers access to leverage their investment.”
