SBTech has become the latest company to be awarded a licence by the National Gambling Office (ONJN) in Romania.
The firm’s B2B Class 2 Software Provider Licence will enable SBTech to become one of the first sportsbook providers for regulated operators in the country.
SBTech is powering its sports-betting offering in Romania with Netbet.ro.
Richard Carter, chief executive of SBTech, said: “Increasing the number of regulated markets in which we operate is a key part of the SBTech strategy and I am delighted that we are entering the Romanian market, having met the high standards set by the ONJN.
“We look forward to delivering our award-winning sports betting solutions to existing and future operators in the regulated Romanian market.”
