Greentube has appointed Michael Bauer, its current chief financial officer, to the new position of chief games officer.

Bauer will head up Greentube’s newly established games vertical, with a remit to advance the company’s potential to boost sales and reach its ambitious growth plans.

Despite taking up his new role and responsibilities with immediate effect, Bauer will also continue to hold the position of chief financial officer.

Bauer joined Novomatic Group, the parent company of Greentube in 2013, and became chief financial officer at Greentube in 2015.

“Greentube and I share the same ambitions and values, and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to step in as CGO at this very exciting period of the company’s growth,” Bauer said.

“We are producing great games and have a very diverse and localised content portfolio; especially large customers that operate in various markets will benefit from this fact.

“I am looking forward to working with my new teams to boost sales, streamline the delivery structure and to drive the business forward.”
