Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen has issued fines to Genesis Global and Paf Consulting, a subsidiary of the Åland Islands-based operator, after ruling that the two licensees breached the country's self-exclusion regulations.
Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has appointed Ronald Prins to chair its advisory board. Prins is well known in the Netherlands for co-founding computer security solutions provider Fox-IT and serving as its CEO for more than 18 years.
The Spelinspektionen has set out plans to crack down on excessive advertising in Sweden’s regulated market, while the national gambling regulator has formalised a cooperation deal with the country’s consumer agency protection agency to aid these efforts.
